The Start of Something New

To mark the opening of this Blog I will be focusing on the World Cup 2014!

Let's Start with today's matches.

PORTUGAL VS GHANA

With Portugal needing to win big time in order to hopefuly qualify I was expecting a win from Portugal and that's what happened, although only 2-1 that did not allowed them to go through to the last 16.

At 1.80 odds for Portugal to Win I have placed a 30€ bet , making a profit of +24€.

USA VS GERMANY 

A bet on this game seemed to me very tricky.

Factors to ponder:

1. Both Managers are Friends

2. With a draw they would both go through without the need of puting extra effort.

3. if we look at history, USA & Germany are not exactly best friends

4. Germany Might want to win to garantee the first place and show there supremecy.

At 1.73 odds for Germany to win I decided that it was worth betting for Germany.

Placed a 20€ bet making a profit of 14€
